This week we’ve been inspired by the lovely Tinx on Tik Tok and her theory on “Fatal Friendship Flaws.” Everyone has flaws (some more than others), and when looking at a friendship there comes a time where you have to decide if you accept the flaw and keep the friendship or you let that person go.
Fatal flaws leave you feeling emotionally drained, and if that person is not actively working on improving themselves, then it may be time to end the friendship. Would you want to know your fatal flaw? Well we sure do! Elaina drops a truth bomb and we air our friendship dirty laundry (seriously, we really hash out the trauma this week).
The Babes get into when it’s time to have that talk with your friend and how to have a healthy version of that conversation. And remember to only share your concerns if you have their best interests in mind. Take a sip of water every time we say “flaw” (stay hydrated, Babes), and maybe keep a glass of wine nearby too. All this and more on Babes and Bad Decisions!Ĭharlotte is back, vaxxed, and needs to get a wax! And if you’re one of her coworkers, welcome! Emily sets the scene this week on a topic she’s waited two years to talk about - post-graduate life. The Babes discuss the differences between moving back to your hometown and moving HOME, along with all the craziness that comes with being back where you’re from. Charlotte might be going brunette, and if you own an empty house in New York let her know! We wish someone would’ve given us this advice before we graduated, so we’re passing it on to you. The stigma of moving home after college can leave people with feelings of guilt, but post-grad looks different for everyone. Focus on the life you want first, then choose a career that will allow you to live that life. When you’re post-grad, structure is super important. ❤️” All this and more on Babes and Bad Decisions! Whether you’re getting into plants like Charlotte, witchy things like Emily, or are an “it girl” like Emily’s roommate, self care is necessary! And remember, GO TO THERAPY! Finally, Charlotte leaves us with some words of wisdom: “If you’re depressed, no you’re not. Our goal this week was to make Charlotte as uncomfortable as possible and I think we achieved that. This week, the Babes took the infamous BDSM test and explored our kinks (drink every time Emily says “f*ck it up). Disclaimer: any healthy relationship is all about willing, enthusiastic, and continuous consent, and BDSM relationships are no different. They aren’t for everyone and are built on complete trust, so make sure you and your partner(s) are educated before exploring these types of relationships. Exploring kinks can be fun, and doing it with someone you feel safe and comfortable with makes it all the better. Contrary to what you might think, the submissive party actually holds all the power in BDSM relationships. They have the power to set the boundaries while dominant party has the opportunity to play within those set limits. Kinks are all about elevating your sexual experience, so things like fear and adrenaline can enhance your arousal and your play. The kink community has its own culture, so it’s important to research before joining the community. The Babes talk about our different kinks, including those not on the test, as well exploring how reading has really opened Emily and Elaina’s eyes to some potential new interests.
